Review of The Devil Wears Prada (2006) by Stephanie H — 16 Feb 2012
This is one of the rare Meryl Streep's roles where I really like her. She's great actress, and finally she got the kind of role that I think suits her better. I also like Anne Hathaway's work here, yet this role was way too simple for her - she could do much better I'm sure.
However, everything else about this film was just mediocre - a very typical, easy-to-watch Hollywood film that is quite nice for entertainment but doesn't cause any wow's. The two stars goes for Meryl Streep who was the only interesting thing about this film.
