In her bitchiest role to date, Streep plays Miranda Priestly, a ruthless magazine editor and a harsh taskmaster who has her junior personal assistant doing her bidding. While she does play the ultimate boss from hell, Streep makes Miranda more than just a two-dimensional villain as she also shows a glimmer of what Miranda had to sacrifice to be in the position that she is in.
