Review of The Devil Wears Prada (2006) by Theodore H — 08 Jun 2014
Great performances, great casting, great origin material, and great reshaping of said origin material. I personally love my Anne, and Meryl is perpetually amazing, and the subject matter is intriguing and keeps your interest, but what really grabs the gold is the dynamic relationship between the two main characters, and the five main characters, for that matter.
The tragic ending is fitting and almost comic, but definitely delicious, not to forget realistic. Just for reference, the ending was almost copied exactly in Damages (2012), which I was fine with since it was a similar relationship, and I liked the show so much...
