Review of The Devil Inside (2012) by Hyam Q — 14 Jan 2013
Frightening and intense, The Devil Inside is a terrifying tale of horror. Isabella Rossi, whose mother suffers from demonic possession, films a documentary about exorcisms in order to better understand what happened to her mother and possibly help her.
The film is shot exceptionally well and does a great job integrating different types of footage into a narrative. And, there's an authenticity to the look of the film that enhances the faux documentary style.
The Devil Inside may be a little too by the numbers, but it's a solid horror film that delivers some thrills.
