Review of The Devil Inside (2012) by Daniel O — 26 Feb 2013

The devil inside trys hard to be successful but in the end falls flat on its face. First off, not only has the exorcism movies been beat to death, so has the found footage genere. When the movie starts it seems like it is going to be atleast a decent watch.

It presents the story and right off the bat and tries to get in a few scares. Then the movie slows down. And when it finally climaxes you will be left speechless. I dont mean in a good way either. This has got to be one of the worst endings in cinematic history.

Now, im not saying everything was terrible. There are a few spots that might get your pulse above 80bpm but other than that this movie is a dud. Its trying to follow in the steps of all the recent movies,like paranormal activity, but winds up getting left in the shadows.

If you have a night that all you do is watch bad movies then put this one at the top. Otherwise spend your money on something else.
