Review of The Devil-Doll (1936) by Max M — 26 Apr 2008
An absolutely brilliant thriller from director Tod Browning (Dracula, Freaks, Mark of the Vampire), who always manages to perfectly balance off-beat horror and genuine human emotion from well-rounded characters in incredibly brief running times.
Co-written by the great Erich Von Stroheim.
