Review of The Devil and Miss Jones (1941) by Bex G — 30 Sep 2007
Jean Arthur is wonderful as a shop assistant, who helps Charles Coburn learn about life and the working class struggle in New York. It may try to hard to come off as a Frank Capra film, but all is forgiven, because Arthur just buzzes her way through a role which just is built around her.
My only big down point of this film, is Jeanâ??s hair!!
