This is a very moving film about a brilliant singer songwriter who has struggled with mental illness for most of his life. It is beautifully directed and uses recordings of real conversations that Daniel taped along with home video footage.

Some people won't understand why his music has such a cult following. It isn't about his technical profiency (or lack of), it's about his soul. His songs are very very moving.
