I like this movie. I like Daniel Johnston in doses. I don't like the word "genius" nor do I like people who toss is around so liberally as nearly everyone in this movie. Still, it's an interesting and entertaining movie.
As far as mentally ill musicians go, Daniel Johnston ain't got crap on Roky Erickson, musically or lyrically. And Bright Eyes should just slit his wrists already. What does this have to do with the movie? Nothing. Bright Eyes is just a douchebag.
