Review of The Desert Rats (1953) by Anthony A — 14 May 2012
The Desert Rats is an enjoyable film. It is about a Scottish Army officer put in charge of a disparate band of ANZAC troops on the perimeter of Tobruk with the German Army doing their best to dislodge them.
Richard Burton and James Mason give excellent performances. The script is well written. Robert Wise did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and action.
The Desert Rats is a must see.
