Review of The Descent (2005) by Roland J — 08 Sep 2011
A bit of a modern horror classic already, Neil Marshall has constructed a film that is more frightening than most. The casting is spot-on and once the tension starts it is on a high level for the rest of the movie.
The monsters are used in a clever way, and I like the hint that they are a product of evolution rather than toxic waste or aliens like usual.
