Review of The Descent (2005) by Dustin H — 07 Jan 2012
Not a great horror film, but definitely a nice gorefest in a cave. The camerawork isn't very cohesive, the monsters are a bit inconsistent, the blood work is amateurish and certain character conflicts were awkwardly forced.
Imperfections aside this film really shines in the end, but I'm partial to anything that challenges the clichés of US cinema.
