Review of The Descendants (2011) by Dave R — 26 Apr 2013
This is a sad one. Like every other Clooney movie I've seen, it's missing a little something, but it's actually good. Can't quite point it out, but it's good. I'm particularly fond of Scottie, the youngest daughter.
She reminds me of Ruthie from "7th Heaven" but with a bit of a potty mouth. Enjoyable enough, but a bit slow. I'd totally live in Hawaii. Mind you, this wasn't the 'glamorous' tourist-y side of Hawaii, but still, it was beautiful.
Clooney's good, so's Shailene Woodley & the kid, of course. Everyone else? Forgettable.
