An exceptional drama thanks to Alexander Payne's exquisite direction, George Clooney's brave performance and a perfect ensemble cast. Hawai'i is the perfect backdrop of this wonderful tale of a dysfunctional family struggling to cope with the impending death of their mother after a boating accident.
Clooney captures brilliantly a father's internal struggle trying to keep his family together as he uncovers secrets about his wife's life.
