Review of The Descendants (2011) by Gavin P — 11 May 2013

Finally got around to watching this. And yes, it;s well directed and acted by the 3 main stars, but it's very long and drawn out, with not too much really happening. Sure, it's sad and Clooney's put in a hard place, but there's really not that much drama, conflict or urgency - you know what's going to happen and you know the girls will be closer to him at the end, as life moves on.

I was looking for some optimism in among the depression - none to be found...
