Featuring powerhouse performances from Leonardo Dicaprio and Mark Wahlberg (giving argubly the strongest performances of their careers) and equally great performances from Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon and Ray Winstone.
Martin Scorsese pumps tension and energy throughout the whole film with the perfect pace and great amount of style. A brilliant, twisty, turny screenplay with fully realised themes and character. The Departed is a crime thriller masterpiece and one of the masters of cinema Martin Scorsese's very best films.
