Review of The Departed (2006) by The Big P — 18 Jan 2014

An incredible film that would have made it into my top ten if it weren't for the last ten minutes. It's not that the last 10 minutes were horrible it's just I felt like it could have been handled better. Dicaprio's character was the character I cared most about, and when he got shot in the head it just kind of felt like a let down. I had a feeling he was going to die but they could of at least made it an awesome death or a meaningful death instead of him getting shot in the face out of no where. Overall it is an incredible film though.
