One of my favorite movies ever. Easily Martin Scorsese's most nihilistic and most suspenseful film he's ever made. This film also includes the best cast I've ever seen in a film. Not only is this film very dramatic but it also has great moments of black comedy and it's fair share of Boston accents and tough-guy mannerisms.
It's a testosterone filled cop movie about the unfairness of life and inevitability of death based on poor life choices. This is a morally ambiguous and sad film. Easily one of Scorsese's best.
