The Departed is one of the most intense movies I've ever seen. The characters and plot are so good. Scorsese's directing is great, and the all star cast each give excellent performances. The dialogue is also very well written.
The story is consistently engaging, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns to enchant the experiene. The movie is full of betrayals, and I found myself on the edge of my seat as each side of this large investigation try to find the mole on their team.
It has very thrilling and suspenseful scenes as well. This is a perfectly plotted and unforgettable crime drama that really impressed me. The Departed gets 5/5 stars (A+).
