Being a bit skeptical going into this movie knowing that it is going to be a bloodbath and use f*** as a space-marker, the story telling, acting, and overall plot totally diverts your attention away from the gruesomeness.
DiCaprio's performance deserved and Oscar as well as Scorsese's direction. Brilliant movie.
