Review of The Demonology of Desire (2007) by Sylvester K — 21 Feb 2013
I love Rodrigo Gudino, he's future of horror films. He knew how to scare and shock and disturb. I don't know where to begin. So the short film began with the main character, Ramona making a disturbing prayer about her desire to find a boy who loves her to the point of raping her.
Then her wish comes true, an innocent boy, Eric fell for her charm and ventured into the world of dark secrets and death. The whole film was very unsettling. The young actors, the catholic school girl costumes, dark atmosphere, twisted conversation.
It's one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen.
