Review of The Demented (2013) by Bill R — 10 Apr 2014
Essentially a rip-off of Garth Ennis's The Crossed comic series (without the visceral brutality) as well as the zombie genre, The Demented is a thoroughly derivative, albeit somewhat enjoyable, piece of survival horror set in Southern Louisiana.
An interesting set-up devolves into the stereotypical genre tropes without any real pay-off.
