If Chuck Norris had made a 70's disaster movie, this is the result. This movie pulls out all Academy Award winners George Kennedy (who was in the Airport movies) and Shelly Winters (The Poseidon Adventure) throws in veterans actors Lee Marvin, Robert Vaughn and Martin Balsam, comics Joey Bishop and low-key actors with recognizable faces, Bo Svenson and Steve James, and Robert Forster as an Arab.

It's so bad it's almost good, especially when you consider Forster's performance is the only good thing about this movie. Marvin sleep walks. It was his last movie. Norris proves that he is the only Army guy who can have long bushy hair and a Grizzly Adams beard.

Yeah, right? The action is so-so. It would have been better if we didn't have to hear that nauseating score over and over. There's a sequence with Norris on a motorcycle that shoots rockets and bombs from its exhaust that must have seemed better on paper than it did in the movie.

This was supposedly based on the TWA hijacking from 1985, but a lot of liberties have been taken with the movie.
