Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by John M — 14 Oct 2010
A beautifully acted and harrowing story where the actors convincingly act just like a bunch of friends drinking at a pub together and at awedding celebration with the naturalistic dialogue and frequent ad-libbing.
The vietnam scenes are disturbing and emotional with De Niro giving one of his best and most passionate performances of his career.
