A film that will stick with you long after the credits roll, The Deer Hunter is reminder of what war can not only do to people, but the friendship that these people share. Featuring heart breaking performances from its cast, which includes Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep, Christopher Walken in an oscar winning role, and John Cazale in last performance.
What truly makes this film great in my eyes, is watching how far one will go to save a friend. Sorry I couldn't write more as I get to choked up thinking about some of the part in this film.
