Review of The Deep Blue Sea (2011) by Julie S — 23 Mar 2014
The most understated yet deeply felt romance you will (probably not) see this year. This only came on my radar as I'm now in love with Tom Hiddlestone so am checking out his back catalogue and I am very happy to have discovered it.
As slow-burn as you can imagine, the film practically stops at one part so we can enjoy the lovers dancing solo together. Come the cataclysmic (to those that have experienced being dangerously in love with another) end I was in pieces, greatly due to the power of Weisz's.
performance.
