Review of The Deep Blue Sea (1994) by Laura S — 31 Mar 2012
Beautiful lighting does not redeem this deeply flawed film. The obsessive love relationship that is the heart of the film is not believable and Rachel Weisz character is entirely unsympathetic. This combined with the films overwrought theatrical dialogue and a lack of movement by both the camera and actors made it difficult to stay awake while watching this film.
