Review of The Deep Blue Sea (1994) by Tom H — 17 Oct 2013
A valiant attempt at transposing a Terence Rattigan play to film. However, it falls short in being just a little too English in its suppression of emotions and proper civility. You're actually denied the opportunity to identify with any of the characters.
Having said that, the cast is excellent. Bottom line: If you like English drama, this is for you.
