Review of The Deep Blue Sea (1955) by Susan D — 18 Feb 2008
Moving story of a suicidal woman (Vivien Leigh) starved for attention by her free-spirited husband (Kenneth More) while her titled ex-husband (Emlyn Williams) comes to her aid and seeks to win her back.
Well acted and well paced. Emlyn Williams, so often cast as the villain, is very sympathetic.
