Review of The Debt (2010) by Gordon C — 16 Jan 2012
I'm partial to anything FOCUS FEATURES, 1st off. This movie was dynamite, though. Amazingly casted, a story kept you second-guessing even though you know the beginning and also the outcome (they play with the story's linear structure).
Chastain continues her host streak with this one; Mirren brings a strength and class all her own. Csokas (you might remember from the 2nd BOURNE movie) really packs a punch. You hate the guy, yet you empathize with him when making his plea and talking about country and shame.
A really good monologue there for male actors looking to pull something from a film.
