Review of The Debt (2010) by Alex C — 29 Jan 2012
3 out of 5 stars: I was pretty excited about a "bending story" that was co-written by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class), however at the end of the movie there was a bunch that was missing from a directing stand point! I think this movie had the potential to be great, however it fell short of what it was trying to accomplish! Great Actors & Actresses, Great topic (jews vs.
nazi's), Great Settings, Great concept, but again this entertaining movie fell short of greatness! It takes a very special director to be able to take a story, chop it up, and tell it out of sequence.
.. This director just couldn't get his finger on the pulse.. Fun and exciting yet leaves you with a sense of disappointment at the end! - Alex.
