'The debt' left me in awe to of the nature of intelligence operatives from a war torn culture such as the Jewish front in middle east. Such as with the film 'Munich' (a very good film liken to this one) They no when good is gone and still good. The plot is to the tracking down and pursuit of justice for a war crimes officer from the Nazi party, a militant in WWII. They have a locale, they have the scheduled plan to extract and they are behind the lines in a decades later timeframe since the crimes, but its none any more friendly to espionage in there midst, and have to capture and human-smuggle this atrocious war crime lord out to trial back home.

It`s very tense right though and covers an era or two, as an introspective retrospect covers half the film and a modern day current-time-plot stems the story. Lets you into the minds of the said hero`s/heroin paving way to setting the truth in place instead of putting facts in place to serve the greater truth, by bringing justice to hand.

Helen Mirren is especially persuasive as her character portrays the very same character type as earlier on in the film played by Jessica Chastain as Young Rachel-scared, strong and with very noble intent. Sam Worthington is also surprisingly good and it`s the best performance yet I think from him that i`ve seen, as I didn't think he was that strong both 'terminator salvation' and 'avatar' (avatar 3-2015) though both awesome attributes to his port, to take nothing away there. Tom Wilkinson as Stefan whom I just saw in 'the exorcism of emily rose' is a fine cast addition as well in this.

All up, a great film if you like these and will certainly entertain in a graphic suspension thriller of gripping novel propotions.
