Review of The Debt (2010) by Antony G — 30 Jun 2013
A decent spy/espionage thriller which takes part in two different time periods. It's a slow burner & it was difficult to hold any interest but I'm glad I stuck with it as the story unfolds with a few twists & turns.
The two time periods are 1965 & 1997 which focuses on three spy's who were hunting down a particular Nazi, The Surgeon of Birkenau, Dieter Vogel. He was renowned for horrific experiments on children & adults & our three spy's were given the task to capture him & bring him to trial in Israel.
They spend the next 32 years being hailed as heroes of Israel but the past soon catches them up & what happened in East Berlin in 1965.
