Review of The Deaths of Ian Stone (2008) by Rachel L — 26 May 2008
An admirable effort. Plays kind of like a Twilight Zone episode.
I have a feeling that the guy who wrote this film had this idea in his head for years. He probably told people about it while he was shitfaced at parties.
"Yeah it's like these dudes, right, and there's this one dude, right?, and he's like, dying like, all the time, and he discovers there's this like, race of like, demon monster things, right?, and like they feed on fear man, you know what I'm saying, like, they feed, on fear...".
Hey. What can I say, it's a little goofy at times, but it's genuine and it's creative and the effects are actually pretty great.
Solid new horror.
