Discovery of potentially valuable shipwreck off the coast of the Philippines also awakens a curse in the form of a female guardian that brings a grisly end for those attempting to enrich themselves. I'm sure this wasn't considered at Oscar time but as far as Filipino horror films go, this one is pretty good.
