Review of The Deal (2005) by James H — 11 Jun 2005
I'm just coming home from a long trip with my son and getting ready to write mail to friends telling them about The Deal, a really important new political film I'm trying to spread the word about.
I've just read Ed Gonzalez' review of the film, and as far as I'm concerned this self-styled Captain Courageous is a gutless wonder. Here's a guy who gives Revenge of the Sith a positive review, I guess because he's afraid of Lucas and his fan base, and then displaces on a little indie film trying to increase awareness about Wall Street and our energy situation whose entire budget was probably about what the catering bill came to on the set of Sith.
As Tony Lane of the New Yorker put it in the only honest review of Sith, break me a fucking give.
