Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Anna B — 28 Aug 2010
While the story felt a little flimsy and the acting was questionable (except for Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen) the movie was enjoyable for what it was.
The main reason to watch this movie are for Walken's and Sheen's (short but sweet) performances.
I was surprised Cronenberg didn't have his trademark unnecessary graphic nudity and heavy violence. Studio appeasement perhaps?
A decent watch on a slow night.
