David Cronenberg's THE DEAD ZONE [1983]: After reading various reviews on this site from other RT members about the films of David Cronenberg, this horror movie marathon I decided to at least view one film by him. My choice was Cronenberg's 1983 adaptation of a Stephen King story titled THE DEAD ZONE starring the always entertaining Christopher Walken. Well did I like it? Yes I did Cronenberg's adaptation of a bold Stephen King story about one English teacher (Walken) waking up after five years from an Acoma and discovering that he has physic powers is rich in atmosphere and has a great twist at the end. To cut along story shot this film gets a solid 80% from me.
