Review of The Dead Pool (1988) by Geoff C — 12 Aug 2009
This film probably should have never been made. I think most of the Aerial shots were from stock news footage, instead of having them filmed by an actual film crew. Some of the parts were ludicrous, Kung Fu and Jim Carrey did not belong in the movie. It was the worst of the Dirty Harry movies.
That being said, I did enjoy the film on it's own merit, and Clint Eastwood was as great as ever!
(One moment I particularly enjoyed was the murder of a film critic based on Pauline Kiel, who heavily criticized the first "Dirty Harry" film when it came out.).
