Review of The Dead Pool (1988) by Shane D — 14 Nov 2011
This was the last appearance of Eastwood as his iconic Dirty Harry and from most people's point of view, it's the weakest of the bunch. I didn't hate it, I actually enjoyed the banter between Kim and Eastwood, but it didn't feel like it had the same edginess or cool that is predecessors had.
In fact, what was most interesting were the "before they were stars" cameo's from Liam Neeson and Jim Carrey. Overall, its always good to see Eastwood in action but ultimately the actual plot was a bit miserable.
