Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Chris G — 03 Nov 2007
Typical indie film, but still fairly effective. Character driven film centers around the people somehow involved with the dead body of a young woman, all told through separate vignettes, including the person who discovers the body, a girl who thinks the body may be that of her sister's, the mother, the dead girl herself, and even the killer.
Some decent writing, fairly good camera work and editing, but the film works thanks mostly to its performances, which carry the film.
