Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Eeva S — 20 Mar 2008
The film surprised me in two ways. Firstly,l the acting was really good, far above average. I'd expected so much, knowing the cast, bit still surprisingly authentic. Whereas the other surprise I'm not sure if I liked or not: it was very realistic and sad, also lacked all fast action which made it even more authentic and serious.
Woman director explains a lot of that. Ok, I've decided I liked it, I'm glad someone tells the sad story with no tricks. Also this could be used as an excellent discussion opener for young girls.
