Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Rob T — 15 Oct 2008
Excellent telling of 5 stories revolving around the dead girl of the title.
Though the stories are short they manage to tell you all you need to know of the characters involved and all of the performances are strong.
The characters are all interesting and really that is what counts here as while they are all linked by the dead girl their paths never cross.
Would have liked more time spent on the serial killer but as that was not the focus of the film I can't really criticise it for that.
Enjoyable, but darkly so, and somewhat moving.
