Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Anne O — 27 Sep 2009
I am a huge fan of disjointed plot structures & this film did it brilliantly. Very clever way to set a thriller. This film started with a bang & just got straight into it. Little pieces of a murder puzzle are pieced together through the stories of 5 different women (which I loved how the story unfolds through the relationships these women have with the interconnected characters).
There were some questions left unanswered and I'm not sure if I liked that. Open endings such as this serve their purpose well... I wanted more - I got just enough to want more answered - and I still can't stop thinking about it! Great film - Nice One!
