With a smokingly brilliant all-star cast (including- Toni Collette, Rose Byrne, Mary Beth Hurt, Kerry Washington, Brittany Murphy, Marcia Gay Harden, James Franco, Mary Steenburgen, Nick Searcy, and Josh Brolin) this movie had great potential even before you knew what it was about. But, once you've read the back of the box you're hooked. I knew that this movie had more potential than ever when I read about it's "chapters", The Stranger, The Sister, The Mother, The Wife, and The Dead Girl. The format was outstandingly interesting and well done.

The fact that Karen Moncrieff not only directed but wrote the movie adds to the perfection. Moncrieff had things the way the story needed it. She did wonderfully. The writing was some of the best non-dialouge driven writing i've ever seen. They didn't need to talk, but when they did you got to see inside the characters.

Kerry Washington, James Franco, Rose Byren, Brittany Murphy and Mary Beth Hurt did some fanominal work. The rest of the cast were brilliant as well.

The Dead Girl will make you think about life, and what only death can inspire. More than seven people get a new lease on life when they realize what death can do to everyone. It cuts you short, you can't change who you are, or what you did. Change it now, while you still have time.
