Review of The Daytrippers (1997) by David U — 26 Mar 2006
Hope Davis finds a love letter in her husband's pocket. She decides to show her family (including an overbearing mother), the family decides to go and find the husband to find out who this letter is from and why he has it.
Overly talky, but what do we expect from a film with this kind of indie cast? One major downfall is the Mother. Anne Meara plays what is without a doubt, the most annoying mother I have ever seen in film.
I wanted to strap this bitch up by her ankles and flog her until she wouln't be able to open her overused pie hole anymore.
