Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) by Johnh. — 20 Dec 2008

I really wanted to like this film. I think Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly are both good actors. But, I have to be honest, I was bored through much of the movie. The points of view of both the U.S. Government and the aliens were totally idiotic.

So it didn't pass the cerebral test that may have saved it since the action was less than exciting.
