Even in playing the role of an emotionless and extremely detached Space Being, Keanu Reeves manages to seem too flat. The man can't act. If you've seen any of his movies, you've seen this one.
He is the mysterious main character with immense power and an important decision on his hands to decide the fate of humanity but it takes him the full length of the film to make the right decision. You might recognize this from the Matrix.
Or somewhat in Constantine. Or really from any Keanu films barring Bill & Ted, which I hardly consider to be film(s). The special effects are impressive at first, but lackluster before the movie is even halfway through.
Don't waste your time on this one if you haven't already.
