This movie was devoid of the emotion and true grandeur that a movie like this should have. The effects do not make up for a spare storyline and flat characters. Reeves aside, actors like Kathy Bates, Jennifer Connelly, and Jaden Smith were misused and cast into roles that could have been played by anyone.
These roles just did not have any depth to them. This movie could do as a rental.
