Though it falls short from the 1951 masterpiece, this film is in its own right one to remember. There are no annoying characters, no corny dialogue. I like the film, true it is environmentalist in its message but so what! There are some great sequences and fantastic special effects, actor Reeves does a great job as the otherworldly visitor.
